Welcome Newcomers! Helpful Features You’ll Find on Skywriter

Jupiter ingress into Pisces, SkywriterYesterday, lucky, expansive Jupiter entered into the sign Pisces, and I’m loving it already!  It was certainly lucky for Skywriter, thanks to some fabulous exposure in Diana Stone’s Newsletter and in Vibration Magazine.  There are 42 new subscribers as of this morning, and there were a dazzling number of page hits on articles yesterday—an all-time high that beats the pudding out of any single day so far.

 The actual number of page hits, though, was eerily evocative: 1984. What’s that supposed to mean??

Are we now, after all these years, finally living in George Orwell’s futuristic world? If so, you’ll find a great many articles and features here to help you sort out with this new reality.  Let me introduce you to some of them.

Coping with the Cardinal T-Square: My main mission for the past several months and many more to come is to introduce my readers to ideas and tools that will help them cope with the Cardinal T-Square currently formed by transiting Pluto, Saturn, and Uranus.

I combine my social work background with astrology, metaphysics, and the healing arts in an ongoing series of articles you’ll find under the category A Pluto-Saturn Preparedness Kit.  (Good starting places are The Pluto-Saturn Preparedness Kit—an Overview of the Series and Pluto-Saturn Preparedness Kit #1—Houses & Areas of Life Affected.)

When you’re too paralyzed by anxiety over the economy or other scary things going on in our world to take action, see the articles under Freedom from Fear and Healing Tools–Essences, Light, etc.

If your closest relationships have got you stirred up now that Saturn’s in Libra, see the offerings under Relationship Astrology and Relationship Help.

Want to Know what Other Readers Loved?  See the 20 articles that received the greatest numbers of hits here:  Readers’ Favorite Articles.

Understanding your Birth Chart and Transits: The student or fan of astrology will find scads of teaching articles here to further their studies as well as their personal growth.  See the articles under Natal Chart Analysis, Houses of the Horoscope, Vocational Astrology and Current Astrological Conditions–Transits/.

Just Here for Some Fun?  We all need it sometimes, so enjoy the lighter side of astrology and metaphysics with features under the categories Humor & Creative Writing, Charts of Famous People, and Internet Find of the Week.

  1. ::applauds:: Go, DC!

  2. Thanks, Neeti! I’m sure your work on the social networks to spread the word about my ebook offer to get donations for Haiti must have brought some new subscribers too. Donna

  3. I would like to support your generous Haiti offer. Which of your books covers the topic of houses/cusps? In particular I’d like to know how to interpret houses where the sign of the house only takes up 1 or 2 degrees of the house while the majority of the house is the next sign. (ie: the house cusp is 29 degrees Leo with the majority of the house being 0-25 degrees Virgo)

    • Hi, Mandala Lady, I haven’t written on that question, but will say thisWhat’s really important in the intreptation are the planets inside a given house–either at birth or by transit– as their energies then color and are colored by the areas of life that house depicts. Houses with no planets but two signs partake of the nature of both signs to a certain extent, but are unlikely to be as significant in the economy of where we focus our energies.

      An Astrological Guide to Self-Awareness has a chapter on houses, along with chapters devoted to aspects and each of the planets. Astrological Analysis has a number of essays on the houses. The Outer Planets as Vocational Indicators discusses what it means when each of the outer planets is in the career houses: 2nd, 6th, and 10th. Those would probably be my recommendations for you. Thanks! Donna
