I much enjoy the daily selections on http://www.quotationspage.com/ and include them on my Google startup page. It often seems that the more brilliant quotations capture the essence of some planet or sign, so I’ve taken to saving them in a file for some unspecified future purpose. Below are some that seem to bring out the very essence of the planet Neptune. (For more information about the authors and sources of the quote, click on their names.) No doubt if we examined the charts of those who are quoted, Neptune would be prominently featured. Among other things, Neptune is the planet of the mysterious, the ethereal, the the deceptive and deluded, but also the planet of spirituality, creativity, and service.
Don’t part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live. – Mark Twain
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
– Umberto Eco
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. – Albert Einstein
The effort to understand the universe is one of the very few things that lifts human life a little above the level of farce, and gives it some of the grace of tragedy.- Steven Weinberg
How hard it is, sometimes, to trust the evidence of one’s senses! How reluctantly the mind consents to reality.
– Norman Douglas
Everything is vague to a degree you do not realize till you have tried to make it precise. – Bertrand Russell
Man is equally incapable of seeing the nothingness from which he emerges and the infinity in which he is engulfed.
– Blaise Pascal
Confusion is always the most honest response. – Marty Indik
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955)
Everything is a dangerous drug except reality, which is unendurable. Cyril Connolly (1903 – 1974), “The Unquiet Grave”, 1945
Reality is the leading cause of stress amongst those in touch with it. – Jane Wagner
Blessed are they who heal you of self-despisings. Of all services which can be done to man, I know of none more precious. William Hale White
I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you. Oprah Winfrey (1954 – ), O Magazine, September 2002

Hmmm, that was interesting. Looks like somethings will always remain mystery.
I myself have been trying to solve the mystery of this legend for a while now. Could not understand much though.
Let me know in case you get to understand the mystery of the Old Hound and the Legend
By the way, good writing style. I’d love to read more on similar topics

Not a clue about the hound! I gues we need mysteries in our lives. I, for one, am a life-long reader of mystery novels, starting with Nancy Drew around age 8. Donna
