In this series, we are looking into ways to reduce the fear that so many people are facing in our current economic crisis. For previous articles, look in the category list at the side for Metaphysics and Freedom from Fear. We’ll be discussing self-help tools to calm your mind, body, and spirit so that you can take effective action to put yourself on a solid basis.
Among the myriads of techniques I myself have used over the years, a simple and effective technique for releasing emotions of various kinds is called EFT–Emotional Freedom Techniques. Therapists and alternative health practitioners around the world are using this technique in their sessions and teaching it to their clients, but you can master the basics for yourself. http://www.eftuniverse.com has a big collection of instructional materials.
The site says, “Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture that is based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body’s subtle energies, your emotions, and your health. EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will. Best of all, anyone can learn and use EFT and you don’t need specialized schooling for it.”
The site contains hundreds of articles about specific applications of this technique, so put “fear” into the on-site search engine. You can also sign up for their free newsletter.
The Obligatory Disclaimer: Like all self-help techniques, naturally, you are cautioned that if a strong response comes up, stop using it and consult your health care practitioner for advice. If you are already under treatment for anxiety, do not begin using this tool without discussing it with your physician.
Readers, if you are using any techniques to help you deal with fear and anxiety over the economy, please share them in the comment section.

My hair was becoming thin due to thyroid problems, and I started tapping certain meridians to help it grow thicker…it worked I do not have the full head of hair I did at 20 (yet) but it is growing back and getting thicker all over…
My sister has even commented that “I didn’t get the same genes as she did because she is going bald (she won’t do this kind of thing) because mine is so thick..(fine but a lot of it) Previously (before I started doing tapping) she commented that my hair was thinning like hers..
I also just did a tapping for peace for Japan..they said if anything else it would help US remain calm and thereby help Japan regain calm and peace. I believe that worked too (at least for me) I think that the more people that do this, as a collective, it may actually help, or at least keep more people feeling calm in the face of rising world troubles.

EFT Tapping is one of the effective technique for controlling both physical and mental emotions like stress, fear, anxiety and weight loss. It is similar to acupuncture without needles and it can be easily learned and performed by anyone when in need.
